Congratulations to our club national level gymnast, Cleo Page who has been selected as member of National Team Group by GCG ( Gymnastics Canada Group). Cleo will move to Toronto and train there for her Olympic dream.
Gymnastics Canada is very excited and looking forward to working with this years young and talented gymnasts. It’s a great honour to be part of the National Group and to represent Canada around the world. Although the 2015 team did not qualify for the 2016 Olympic Test Event we see this as the perfect opportunity to begin the major phase of the group development process. A lot of time is needed to prepare the gymnasts & construct the choreographies for two complex compositions. The girls need time to synchronize their different styles of work in order to be ready when the new competitive cycle starts.
